Born Moscow, Russia · Based in Toronto, Canada
Toronto-based composer and sound artist scoring for film, screen, and immersive
installation, with a parallel practice in experimental electronic music and live
performance. Classically trained in piano and jazz improvisation, and a physicist by
training, Dora builds scores from field recordings, generative electronics, and
acoustic texture — shaping sound to image and to explore perception, embodiment, and
emotional memory. Co-founder of Borscht, a Toronto platform supporting experimental
artists through a radio station, label, and concert series.
